NVIDIA has recently updated the specification sheet for the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU. However, a small mistake was included in their review guide and marketing material. It is understandable as Team Green workers were likely in a rush to prepare for the official unveiling of the RTX 40xx SUPER range at CES 2024. So, it is not unexpected to find a typo here and there.

The AD104 GPU configuration of the RTX 4070 SUPER was advertised to have a 20% increase in core count compared to the vanilla RTX 4070 (non-SUPER). However, detail-oriented observers were puzzled by the SUPER's L2 cache designation of 36 MB. Leaks from 2023 had suggested that the correct value should be 48 MB, which would represent a 33% increase from the standard 4070's L2 cache. It is worth noting that TPU's GPU database had the correct specification entry from the beginning.
