CORSAIR Launches MP600 ELITE Series of SSDs
CORSAIR, a leading provider of enthusiast components for gamers, creators, and PC builders, has announced the release of the MP600 ELITE series of SSDs. These high-performance PCIe 4.0 SSDs are available with various cooling options, ensuring optimal storage performance for desktop PCs, laptops, and Sony PlayStation 5 consoles.
The MP600 ELITE series is built using high-density 3D TLC NAND and is initially available in 1 TB and 2 TB capacities, with 4 TB models set to launch in April. These SSDs offer impressive sequential read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/sec and write speeds of up to 6,500 MB/sec. Additionally, they boast random read and write speeds of up to 1,000K and 1,200K IOPS respectively, making them ideal for gamers, creators, and hardware enthusiasts who require exceptional performance on a PCIe 4.0 platform. Furthermore, these SSDs are backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 systems.
The MP600 ELITE is available as a standard drive for use in motherboards and laptops, featuring an integrated heat spreader. It is also available as a PS5-compatible model that can be directly installed into Sony's latest consoles. Each drive offers AES 256-bit encryption and endurance of up to 1,200TBW.
The MP600 ELITE for PS5 is specifically designed for use in Sony's latest console and includes a low-profile aluminum heatsink to keep the SSD cool even during intense gaming sessions. It surpasses all Sony PS5 M.2 performance requirements and can be easily installed in both the classic PS5 and the newer PS5 Slim consoles.
