AMD is preparing to launch a new series of professional graphics cards based on its latest RDNA 4 graphics architecture. The upcoming flagship pro-vis product, likely to be part of the Radeon PRO W9000 series, will be powered by the silicon variant "Navi 48 XTW". According to leaked information, the card will feature 32 GB of memory, most likely ECC GDDR6, connected through a 256-bit wide memory bus. It is expected to have the same core-configuration as the Radeon RX 9070 XT gaming GPU, including 64 compute units with 4,096 stream processors, 128 AI accelerators, 64 RT accelerators, 256 TMUs, and 128 ROPs.
In addition to professional visualization, AMD may also target the AI acceleration market. The company will be hosting the "Advancing AI" press event in June, where it is anticipated to announce its next-generation AI GPUs and updates to ROCm. This event could also serve as the platform for introducing the Radeon PRO W9000 series, catering to the AI acceleration audience.
